BASIC FUNCTION:

Coordinate multi-systemic therapy (MST) at designated school sites, provide a variety of mental health services to mentally ill or emotionally disturbed students, and lead the work of Licensed Mental Health Clinicians.  To view the detailed position description for Lead Licensed Mental Health Clinician click here

 

VACANCY / POSITION SPECIFICS: 

• Working Location: Mental Health Resource Center 2351 Cardinal Lane, Annex B, San Diego, CA 92123 (Area C).
• Work Schedule: 12 months per year / 40 hours per week.
• Salary: This position is paid on the  OTBS Salary Schedule.  Grade 062.   To view the Salary Schedule, click here.
• Positions greater than 20 hours per week qualify for District-paid health and wellness benefits for the employee and their eligible dependents.

• Vacancies that require the incumbent to be Bilingual in English/Spanish will be noted. Candidates considered for positions that require bilingual skills will be invited to a Performance Test (Qualifying Only) for oral and written fluency. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Education and Experience:

Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field, and two (2) years post-license experience in clinical intervention to children, adolescents, and their families.

 

NOTE: Your related education and experience must be clearly represented in the work history and education section of your application. 

 

Licenses and Other Requirements: 

Possession of a valid license issued by the State of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.  Some positions may require bilingual Spanish skills.
